Renee L. Spieckermann

Founder & Principal Attorney

Renee L. Spieckermann is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law with an LL.M. in Taxation. She began her legal career over 20 years ago as a file clerk after graduating from UCLA. From there, she quickly became a paralegal, and ultimately attended law school at Loyola Marymount. She is admitted before the California courts, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Tax Court.

Why Trusts & Estates?

Although she started in general litigation, Renee always felt drawn to the trusts and estate practice area. As a child she saw the powerful impact a knowledgeable and caring attorney had on the administration of her grandmother's trust and the positive effect it had on her mother as a trustee. That experience inspired her to help others in the same way, guiding clients through trusts, wills, and probate matters with compassion and expertise.

Expertise You can rely on

After transitioning to the trusts & estates practice area of law in 2012, Renee focused her efforts on addressing the needs clients have for personal attention while maintaining reasonable legal fees. She values offering clients quality legal advice with a compassionate spirit that she feels this practice area requires. Renee also believes in the importance of continuing education, and in 2016 she completed her LLM degree which allows her to know the ins and outs of tax law.

Aside from owning and operating her own firm, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking in the mountains of Santa Clarita, reading, watching sitcoms, playing games with friends, and fitting in travel when she can.

More Testimonials

“I’d been thinking about creating an estate plan but kept putting it off, figuring it involved making lots of complicated decisions, sometimes difficult ones. I was right. But Renee walked me step-by-step through the whole process, making it understandable and completely manageable.

She explained the different components of an estate plan, provided me with forms to help organize the information she needed to create one for me, and answered my questions. Many, many questions. With patience, sensitivity and clarity.

I greatly appreciate the service she provided and recommend her, without hesitation, to anyone wanting to put together an estate plan.

“I was referred to Renee Spieckermann three years ago by my business attorney. Knowing I needed help regarding a dispute with Social Security, Renee came highly recommended.

From the moment I first spoke to her, I was comfortable. She listens! Her expertise and experience was apparent from the start. She is intelligent and has a great work ethic. She is honest, reliable and never quits. I recently discovered that she specializes in estate planning,
something I need as well. I can’t say enough nice things about her. Renee Spieckermann is an attorney you can trust.

“When my grandmother passed away, she didn’t have any sort of will or trust, and it was SO MUCH WORK and SO MUCH MONEY for my mom to go through probate to get access to any of her inheritance. I don’t want to do that to my family, so when I got married, I knew that we needed a trust... but knew nothing about the process, what’s required or how to go about it. I found Renee and I’m so glad I did. She walked me step by step through the process, explaining everything clearly so I could understand and fielding all my questions with so much patience.

— Celine D.

“It’s not easy to think about what you want when you are gone, and what you will be leaving behind, and Renee made the process so smooth and easy. I would trust her with all my family and friends, she is honest, kind, straightforward and smart. She gives recommendations where needed but doesn’t push one way or another. She makes sure you know what each decision means, and gives you the time you need to think about anything. I highly recommend using Renee for all trust and estate planning, I would trust her with my life!

— Dawn L.

“Renee did an excellent job with our family’s estate plan. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and thorough and guided us through the entire process. My favorite part was how easy it was - one planning meeting, a few simple email follow-ups, and one signing meeting. And now we’re protected in case anything should happen to one of us. The fee was very competitive, as well. Highly recommended!
